This model does not, include a side mount for an optic. You could get a ultimake gas tube rail from the AKOU store. Daniel, to be on the safe side I'd contact century arms at 561-908-7993 or email them at ( support@centuryarms.com ) because I'm getting mixed answers and firearms are too pricey now days to not know exactly what you're getting.

Ok found a better option, the product I was originally looking for. Not sure where Josh got that answer, but from what I've read on century arms website the VSKA doesn't include a mount point for a side rail, maybe I missed something, but from what I read it's just the C39V2 and newest RAS47 that include a side mount.

The only difference i can see is the one trooper buds has, model number RI4378N has a rail above the handguard for optics. Other than that not finding any difference. If you want you can Google the upc numbers or model numbers but I'm not finding any other difference. Hope this helps.
