Hi Simom and welcome. Tennifer is the original finishing process used by Glock. There are several scientific write ups but in short, it's one of the hardest and toughess metal finishes available. Cheers and stay safe!

Hi Simon, Tenifer and Melonite are trade names for firearm finishing processes that involve salt bath nitriding. It is a case hardening process that diffuses nitrogen and carbon into ferrous metals at sub-critical temperatures during a salt bath. Tenifer is not a finish. It's a process, in which the slide is placed in a chemical bath. The result is that the metal becomes extremely resistent to corrosion and rust. Stay safe & have a great day!

This is absolutely the best striker fired pistol on the market, although it’s overpriced in relation to the standard PDP. If you buy this pistol you will definitely want to pick up the Springco competition spring kit to make this trigger the best it can be for competition/range work. Buds handled the transaction without a problem, as usual.

I can't say enough good things about the Walther PDP. Best trigger on the market, and a great variety from Walther. Optic ready on all PDP models and also steel frame. With Bud's, I got the best deal and received in a timely manner. I recommended Bud's and the Walther PDP. I've never had an issue with PDPs or with Bud's Gun Shop! Dave..

This is a really nice pistol, great fit and finish. Installed the larger grip backstrap yesterday and the feel is perfect. The Dynamic Performance Trigger is crisp, but a bit heavier than I expected, sure it'll loosen up a bit as I get more rounds through it. Walther offers a free Red Dot baseplate, I'm currently waiting for that and then will take it to the range again. Really don't see how you could go wrong with this pistol. The price from Bud's is much lower than retail and shipping is fast.
