This replacement magazine for your Springfield Armory Inc. XD pistol is constructed from heat-treated blued-steel. Included is a follower, lock-plate, and base-plate molded from a proprietary DuPont Zytel based black polymer. Bought 3 mags and you cannot put more than 8 rounds in any of them. 9 or more and it jams after 3 or 4 shots, you have to shake or tap mag to loosen spring feeder and then the bullets get turned around. Don't buy, stick with original springfield mags.

Returned 2 Promag mags because they would not lock into my XD9. They literally fell out of the pistol. Also it felt like trying to load the 15th round with a loader would break something in the mag, so I did not. I am opting to buy original Springfield brand mags.
