The B-14 Ridge rifle features a molded synthetic stock made of glass fiber reinforced polymer. As with the entire B-14 Series, the Ridge brings Bergara Barrel accuracy to a line of hunting rifles that is affordable to serious big-game hunters. The Bergara barrel on this rifle is for hunting whatever your heart desires are complemented by their own super-smooth B-14 Action, which is a two-lug system with a sliding plate extractor and a coned bolt nose and breech to ensure a smooth feeding and extraction of the cartridge. It s also outfitted with a Bergara curved trigger we designed to guarantee a crisp, clean pull every time you fire the rifle. The trigger comes set at about three pounds. The Ridge is available with a hinged floor plate. This Special Purpose model is chambered for 308 Winchester and has been factory drilled and tapped to fit Remington 700 style rings and bases.

Super smooth bolt just like my B14 HMR. The shorter barrel makes it easy to manipulate and the trigger is crisp. I shot several different types of ammo in 150, 165 and 175 BTHP. I found it prefers 175 grain which had a better BC than the tipped rounds. The finish is soft to the touch and helps when manipulating the firearm. It’s a bit heavy for having an 18” barrel, but with a number 5 contour, it’s expected and helps with the recoil, which is tame. It’s perfect for what I’ll be using it for.

Very smooth action on this rifle and it works well with a suppressor. Heavy for its size but not overweight. Best accuracy so far is around 1.5 moa, but it may improve. Wish the bolt locked closed. Would buy again.
