Nothing beats the crisp beak of these old-style Sigs. Once you hit the 1,000 round mark, smooth as butter and breaks like glass. When you register with Sig for the warranty, you get a 15% discount at their store. I strongly recommend buying the short reach trigger at Sig. It brings the feel up another level in comfort. The blued is like $25 and the phosphate is like $60 (before your 15% discount). You Tube Sig Guy video walks you through the job. Easy and quick work. Just go slow and pause the video as needed. I also strongly recommend the Hogue Piranha grips in G10. Feels great and sticks to your hand. Order the grip screws from Hogue. Use some blue Loc-tite and/or teflon tape on the threads. I also refer the old-style braided wire recoil springs that you can get on Ebay for $10 or the Wolf Spring for $9. This will make for an incredibly accurate range gun, a light enough carry gun in hard-hitting 45 and a nightstand gun that you can add a light and laser to.

Solid, well built old school type pistol. Feels great in hand, quick on target and sights line up easily. In 45ACP which adds confidence for one shot stops. Typical Sig Sauer quality.

All the quality we have come to expect from Sig! Small enough to carry easily. The trigger break from cocked hammer is light & super crisp. I'll be sticking with Sig for my handguns!

Oozes quality when you pick it up. Could not be happier with my purchase, I have wanted a Sig 220 for a long time and now I have one. Having 3 magazines in the box was a VERY pleasant surprise, as I was only expecting 2. Have not fired it yet, but I do not expect it to disappoint at the range. Being a Sig, it will do what it is supposed to, as long as I do my part!!

In my opinion, this is the premier da/sa .45 acp . This weapon handles and shoots like no other. Long years ago, I owned a West German 220 which I traded away. This gun seems to be every bit as quality as the first one. Anyone wanting a real fine shooting .45 and like the da/sa, should seriously consider adding one of these to the collection.
