I sold three semi-auto .22 LR pistols and bought this LCR .22 because I was tired of semi-autos that are very picky about ammo, require babying, and which I didn't trust. The LCR .22 is wonderful to shoot, accurate, and, of course, very reliable (even revolvers can fail, but it's much less likely and you can usually just pull the trigger again to advance to the next round). I had one of these years ago, but sold it because I felt the trigger was too heavy. This new one seems more smooth (more like my LCR and LCRx in .38), but maybe I'm imagining that. Anyway, if you want a small .22 handgun, you can't beat the Ruger LCR .22.

Great little revolver for the purpose. I don't expect this to be a target gun, nor a primary defensive weapon. It's obviously neither. What it is however is a great back up revolver with 8 shots of deterrent. I usually carry it in a pocket holster as a back up, a walking down to the road to get the mail gun or as just a walking around my property gun. Well made, lightweight and good trigger for it's purpose.

Bought this as a carry and house defense weapon. When it became time to requalify my CCL I decided to use this revolver. We did just fine. This revolver exceeded my expectations. Buds Gun Shop and along with my FFL made the transaction very smooth. This weapon is easy to shoot, easy to clean and very easy to conceal.

My apologies to Buds gun for not reviewing my recent purchases, I had a death in the family and it has taken a toll on everyone, I purchased the Ruger Lcr not to long ago for my wife to begin her job into firearms we finally were able to venture out to the range a week ago to finally get some needed practice, I must tell everyone this revolver was an absolute joy on her face when she fired it! Wow that really made me proud of her you see she has ptsd and just the other people that where there was terrifying for her! We belong to a range in Massachusetts and I must say it has to be one of the best and friendlier bunch people that we have ever met, they offered a private area for her to shoot without all that gunfire around us! Thanks to you Budsgun for the best price and fast delivery we now will be grateful to both the Range and Budsgun! Looking forward to working with you in the future! Long live the United States of America! Oh yes of course that Ruger lcr 22lr is a great training tool 5 stars hopefully I can work her up to a larger scale weapon but for now baby steps!!!

Would buy again. Light weight and easy to shoot. Using CCI quiet 22LR lowers the bang a bit. So far so good.

Very smooth trigger pull definitely heavier than my lcr in 9mm but to be expected in a rimefire. It's easy got get off quick accurate shots! Very fun little gun and super reliable with cci or federal ammo! Speedbeez makes a range box kit so you have a nice 10 fast reloads ready for you the monent you get to the range or to the backyard soda cans!!!

Its back at Ruger after about 50 rounds fired, the trigger and cylinder was locking up towards the end of firing. They are totally replacing the gun they said it was not repairable, so that's going to be a month without a band new gun. My first LCR in .38 had to go back too after the barrel bushing started walking out after about 1000 rounds. I am starting to be not very impressed
