The SIG SAUER® SP2022® is the latest version of our popular polymer framed pistol and features a durable, lightweight and wear-resistant polymer frame with the added tactical versatility of an integrated accessory rail. The slide is machined from a solid block of stainless steel and protected by SIG’s black Nitron® finish. Available in 9mm, and .40 S&W, the SP2022 can easily be converted from a Double-Action/Single-Action to a Double-Action Only configuration through a unique integral fire control unit. It also features the SIG SAUER four-point safety system. The SIG SAUER polymer framed pistols has earned an enviable reputation and proven track record of reliable performance in the hands of law enforcement professionals. In December of 2004 the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command at the Rock Island Arsenal awarded SIG SAUER a contract for 5,000 SIG SAUER SP2022 pistols chambered in 9mm.

Previous review about barrel slop seemed to be correct. However it isn’t all that bad and the fit and finish everywhere else is fantastic.That’s a sig for you. Considering a threaded barrel is over $100 more buds has this fairly priced and I’m glad I got it. Smooth trigger pull, with no wall just smooth all the way to break. You do have to break grip to decock the gun but not a big issue. I feel like this model is Sigs best kept secret. Thanks again buds you rock.

Excellent service and fast shipping from Bud's. I have owned many Sigs over the years, I did not expect much considering the price. This is now one of my favorite guns. No issues of any kind, feels like an extension of your hand while shooting. Sig quality is unmatched that is for sure.

I expected much more from a Sig Sauer handgun. Buds Guns is great, but this Sig Sauer SP2022 is lacking. The slide to frame fit is very loose, clicky clackity comes to mind. When I add my suppressor, forget it, it is downright wobbly. This can't be good for overall accuracy. My 30 year old Glock 19 after thousands and thousands of rounds is still 100% tight. My Taurus Millennium PT45 Pro has a tighter slide to frame fit. Also, it jams every other shot with the same subsonic 148 gr. rounds I use in my Glock 19 and I have a modified 22lb recoil spring in mine to aid in suppression. I have had zero failures to feed or fire. Also beware it comes with a left handed metric thread and adapters are pricey and not very aesthetically appealing.
