This fit well in my collection.

The product as expected is great. I have bought several Marlin rifles, and I have never been disappointed. Super reliable , the tube magazine works well and the rifle is extremely accurate at 100 yards. I bought this rifle because my Marlin 60 is phenomenal. As always, Buds delivery and customer service was second to none.

I purchased this arm about 6 weeks ago. It is accurate, cycles well and does not exhibit any deficiencies as to performance or appearance. I had read some bad reviews, but this rifle is pretty good. I have put about 100 rounds through it with no FTF, FTC, or any thing else. I have a 3x9 scope on it and it is a blast to shoot. I always wanted a 22WMR and now I am old enough to not worry about the money, and this rifle will not break the bank.

great gun for the money , but the stock is total p.o.s . gonna get a after market soon .

I didnt know what to expect from reading reviews etc but took a chance on this rifle and am damned glad I did. This is a very simple rifle to utilize and with the tube fed magazine you are able to house 12 shells (Note I was able to seat 13, however it caused the first round to jam. I fired through two boxes of CCI Maxi Mags, without any issues, when properly loading the 12 shells as directed). I personally like the tube fed system over screwing around with magazines, since in my experience magazines always seem to wear out far more quickly (just my opinion), not to mention you again, get 12 shots at your disposal, and the rifle is overall more "compact" without a magazine hanging in the way. The sites are easy to adjust and the bolt action was glass smooth. Spent shells were all thrown as expected from a bolt action rifle. The weight to me was perfect, not too heavy, not too light, with only light recoil. This rifle provides dovetail grooves atop the receiver, making the mounting of 3/8" Dovetail scope a cinch, and the base grip was solid. It is also tapped to allow you to hang scope base hardware for Weaver systems. The stock included two hardpoints for mounting sling swivels or sling/swivel combinations. I tried to seperate sizes of swivel kits and both fit fine. Overall accuracy was good out to fifty yards where I was firing it on an outdoor range. I have yet to try it on the 200-300 yard range we have available there, but am sure it will perform fine.

Rifle would not properly feed ammunition. Magazine tube did not function as supposed to. After Remington had rifle for 4 weeks to repair I was told that it would be another 30 day for the part to come off backorder. I requested and received a refund. Ordered another Marlin XT - this time with the "standard" magazine; hopefully this design will work properly.
