I bought this to be a cost efficient, yet effective gun for quail hunting, squirrel hunting and the occasional challenge on the sporting clay range and it has done everything I have asked it to do. The mossberg 500 is a reliable platform and I would recommend it to anyone that wants a pump action. It may not be the prettiest option, but it gets the job done and shoots where you point it, so in my mind and experience it is the best pump action on the market. Buds was quick to ship and I experienced no issues with the transfer process.

It's a Mossberg 500 so it just works all the time every time. Can't go wrong. Fit & finish is excellent. Mossberg carries nice stocks & different barrels at a reasonable price so this is a great platform to build on if you wish. Quick shipping from Buds as usual.

safety froze up after 25 rounds,,,original safety is being replaced by after market one.

Awesome shotgun , then again it is a mossberg 500 . Once I picked it up from my ffl I spent the day putting more then 100 rounds through it ... very pleased thank you buds

Excellent shotgun, great packaging, very fast shipping. this shotgun is very light weight and shoulders quickly. the pump action is very smooth and quick. You just can't beat Mossbergs quality and low price. The all black stock and bolt add a very cool effect on the gun.

Phenomenal weapon. For the price you can't beat it. Doesn't kick quite like a 12ga unless you put in turkey loads. Still a good weapon to have for the price.
