The Crackshot is a single shot, .22 caliber break action rifle. This gun
has a 16.5" barrel and weighs just over 4 pounds, making it lightweight
and easy to carry. The Crackshot is an excellent truck gun or for
beginners as well as for plinking and small game hunting. The built-in
extractor makes removing a cartridge easy and the checkered stock
provides a better grip. This rifle has a manual trigger block safety and
comes with a 1-piece base already mounted so you can easily install
your favorite scope. The Youth model has a synthetic black stock and
blued finish on the barrel and frame as well as a reduced length of pull
at 13".

This is a really nifty and unique little .22 rifle. Totally unavailable locally-- Bud's got it to my FFL dealer in about 5 days between Christmas and New Year's 2017. This is an extremely lightweight and handy device. If you are looking for finely crafted wood and steel better look elsewhere. Utilitarian best describes this. Fit, function, and accuracy are good and it is a joy to handle. I put about 30 cast lead 9mm bullets wrapped in a piece of t shirt inside the hollow buttstock to bring the balance right to the wrist. "CRACKSHOT" is engraved in large white outlined letters on both sides of the receiver. This is not really apparent in the photo on the website. The threaded muzzle is nicely machined. The extractor is very mechanically positive and those fired hulls are coming out! One at a time. This is a keeper.
