Mossberg & Sons 100ATR 30-06 - 4+1 Rounds, Synthetic, Camo/Fixed Stock

The ATR is an entry level rifle with reasonable accuracy. I don't think one should expect more than that at the rifles price point. About two inches at 100 yards was about all the rifle would do with various ammunition. That's okay for hunting but it will never be a target rifle. It handles reasonably well and seems balanced with a scope mounted. The synthetic stock has some give to it and I suspect a more ridged stock would improve accuracy. I am not sure I would spend the money to see if that happened. The ATR would be a good choice for a beginning hunter or someone that did not want to invest a pile of cash in a rifle.
