One of my favorite 1911s! Weight and balance is perfect. The trigger is the best one of several of my top brand 1911s. And, I always love bright front sights! For the price it easily competes with guns twice its price

This was my first 1911 buy and they aren't really my cup of tea. Bud's delivered fast and hassle free. Of all of the firearms I have purchased with Bud's so far I have yet to have a single issue. Whether or not the firearm is to my liking on the range or not is beside the point. Bud's is always 5 stars.

Got this 1911 from Buds last month. Having owned and shot Kimber’s before I wanted another and had a desire for one with a 5” barrel. I was a bit skeptical of this since it was under $1,000 and the lower was composite. Well, I just hit the range today and was very impressed. It was comfortable in my hands and spot on at 7 yards. After about 75 rounds at 7 yards I ran the target to about 12 yards. Again, spot on. The feel is obviously lighter than an all metal gun but the overall comfort and dexterity of it is as good as any 1911 I’ve fired. I can highly recommend this gun and look forward to my next outing with it.

This is my first Kimber, tomorrow will be the 2nd time I have shot it and am still getting accustomed to it as compared to my other 1911s. Well made, great sights, very light.

Love this gun,The Kimber was very tight when I got it. Went to rack the slide for the first time and it jammed. Cleared the magazine and Cleared the jam and racked the slide 8 to 10 times and no problems. This gun is amazing, and as always a pleasure doing business with Bud's to think there are still practice great customer service !!!! They keep you updated the whole process it's truly a pleasure.

You're reading the reviews because you're trying to make up your mind...Well, just get this one. She's gorgeous. Super, super lightweight and feels extremely comfortable in your hands. Trigger is crisp and clean. Slide is smooth and tight, and finish is top notch. Rubber grips are grip well and are not too aggressive. This is my first Kimber and it's making me wish I would have bought one a long time ago. She instantly became my favorite. Don't be a skeptic about the aluminum frame. After all, your AR has one too. In my humble opinion, the weight difference between this, and a traditional 1911, is actually an advantage for the Kimber. I find it easier to shoot for longer periods of time, and easier to control. Not to mention it is very accurate right out of the box. Beautiful firearm and Buds was great as always!

This gun is smooth! Beautiful example of a 1911 in true Kimber style. Functions great with all types of 45ACP. Spend the extra money. It’s worth it. And of course getting it through BUDS is the ONLY way. They make the whole process great! Thank you Buds guns!! Bryan K
