This shotgun is an excellent choice for turkeys and other game. Even though it is only rated for 3" and 3.5" shells, I have had success shooting light, 2.75" loads with minimal malfunctions (maybe 1 or two failure to ejects per a box of 25 shells). I would highly recommend this shotgun for hunters.
