Just received my Remington 870 Express. Everything is in order and no problems. The action is fine - a bit clunky but precise and will smooth out over time just like my other 870s. The plastic trigger guard actually looks like an improvement over my old metal ones though many 870 purists my disagree.

Not sure about the magazine tube cap as there doesn't appear to be a sling mount on it. I think this is the way they come, but not 100% sure. Would have been better for Remington to toss in this low-cost part as the stock already has a built-in mount.

I really like the synthetic stock. Looks very durable. It's a bit narrower than the wood just behind the trigger guard, but is very comfortable.

Yep it's an 870. The gun had a little tarnish spot on it but I'm not too concerned. All the parts moved freely. Purchasing through Buds was painless and they offered great advice through live chat.

What can I really say about this shotgun, it's an 870. That means it will be there when you need it, with unwavering reliability whether in your home or in the duck blind. Buy one, you will not regret it.

It's an 870 so it doesn't jam,drops roosters and looks good. You can't go wrong with this shotgun, buy it.
