I recently purchased two of these one in youth and one in an adult version both buttstocks came cracked at the same location. The left side where the receiver meets the stock. Buds has offered to replace the firearm, however I am not sure they can send me one that doesn't have this crack. I looked at several at local shops and they too had the same crack. Rossi has stated they would replace the stocks after at least an 8 week wait time and they have no other option that would keep this from being an issue or the ability to replace with a fiberglass stock. I don't feel the hassle of dealing with these firearms is worth the lower price that was paid. Very poor quality control even for a cheaper firearm. I don't think I will ever purchase a Rossi again.
