We don’t know, or at least I don’t know. I still see it in Kimber’s website, so I don’t think it’s discontinued. I have seen it in other sites. I’ve also seen it out of stock on many sites as well. It was my pleasure to assist you.

Who has the best reputation for the most reliable 1911 10mm?

The Kimber Eclipse Custom II is regarded at the most reliable out of the box 1911 in 10mm that won't empty your bank account. The Dan Wesson Silverback is great but almost twice as much.

There are several 10mm 1911's that I own. My order of preference in experienced reliability is Rock Island Armory (hard to bat price point wise), my Colt delta Elite is next, then my Springfield Armory (Older 6" Slide). the Rock 5" and 6' have been more reliable out of the box than my Kimber and Dan Wesson Razorback which both need to be sent back to get to run right. I have long been a member of the Glock Talk 10 Ring forum and have in excess of 20 10mm hand guns and have shot them all. High dollar price means nothing if a gun won't run out of the box.

That's an impossible question! what are you going to use it for, budget, ect.

All are chambered in .45 ACP and the Eclipse Custom II is also available in the powerful 10 mm. This is a beautiful pistol from Kimber that I received in pristine condition from Buds. During break-in phase rounds were difficult to feed and I thought what the hell! After 300 rounds still had trouble feeding. I called Kimber and sent the pistol to them for further analysis. They fixed the problem by working and polishing the feed ramp and it has been perfect ever since. Quality and warranty are a must and Kimber took care of me.

I absolutely love this pistol. It shoots as good as it looks. I love it in the 10mm it has plenty of punch but not hard to shoot. I highly recommend getting one you cant go wrong. And Buds is great to deal with as always.

Great looking and good quality pistol Kimber did a real fancy job on this gun great matching colors a lot of fun to shoot and very accurate it will hit where you aim. Bud's have good prices on there guns

This is such a nice pistol. 10mm really is a bang! It feels so solid, even compared to my Sig P220. Fit and finish is beautiful. The one caveat is the full length guide rod and Kimbers spring retention bushing. NOT the most fun to field strip, and the 18.5 lb spring has a life of its own. Boinnnnggg. Bud's as usual is just great. And Kimber customer service is top notch.
