Just purchased another Kimber from Buds, after having ordered my blued Kimber Pro Raptor years ago. Finally pulled the plug and got the matching model in stainless. What an absolutely beautiful rendition and cant wait to get to the range with her!! Honestly tho, the fit and finish is flawless as usual, and it will most likely only come out to the range on special occasion. Dont plan on carrying it either, will continue the blued to be carried, but just don’t want to mar the finish of the stainless “satin”thru continued leather holster wear. Just a beautiful handgun. Happy with it and Buds yet again!!

I'm a long time fan of the Kimber Raptor series but never wanted to spend that much money until now. And now all I have to say is "Why did I wait so Long?". The purchasing process through Bud's is a well oiled machine. I can't find anyone near me or not near me that can even compete with Bud's prices. I am a huge fan of the purchasing process and thank you for another smooth transaction. Now to the gun! This Pro Raptor is so balanced and smooth to operate. I took her to the range and fired 200 (230 grain FMJ) without one hiccup. I pushed two quick mag's of Federal HST (230 grain) and she ate that as well without an issue. So my dream gun is not only beautiful, but she is also a Shooter! Why buy a lesser equipped Kimber model when you can buy a loaded Raptor with all the upgraded parts that cost you twice as much when you buy them separately? A win-win for this Retired Marine!

Picked up from my ffl an went straight to the range I didn't even wipe it down. I put 200 rounds of 45acp round nose fmj 230gr of my reloads. The gun ran flawlessly all 200 rounds. The fit and finish is beautiful and what you would expect from a high-end gun. The gun shot incredibly accurate, I was able to hit a 3" dot from 15yards consistently. The size and weight of the gun is perfect and is so good to look at. I'm very happy with.

I ordered this then after receiving it I upgraded it with an Ed Brown stainless main spring housing with a flared mag well . I think it is one of the nicest looking 1911's out there! Can't wait to actually shoot it.

I always wanted a Raptor Pro and it is good looking gun in stainless steel. But I wished now that I had purchased it in the dark blue steel. Not sure why I am saving it to shoot, but it is still in box that it came in. But I do take it out some days just to look at it on the wall with my others that I have not shot either.
