The Glock G-31 in 357 sig I recently purchase is a good home defense. I prefer the cartridge and its ability to stop an intruder. While a regular 9mm has good ballistics the Glock model G31 in 357 sig gives an added impact. This is a good shooting weapon that work right out of the box. There are various varieties of personal defense ammunition that cycle through this weapon without failure. I would recommend this weapon to anyone who is looking for 357 magnum stopping power in a easy to handle semi automatic format

This gun is perfection! Having used a Gen-5 G19 before any other, I was wondering what the finger grooves would feel like - whether they would be distractions. No, they fit my fingers perfectly. The spring is stiffer, but not by much. The recoil is slightly more than with the G19. The trigger was rough for the first 10 or so shots, then perfect.

Very fun to shoot however does NOT like certain hollow points that have a very wide opening. Had a few failure to feeds.

Glock what can I say ,very smooth shooting no failures after 100 rounds feels good in my hand. Only draw back ammo $$$ but if you shop around you can find good prices.

G31, what else can you say about this little bottleneck round that is like a 357 mag and very reliable feed. I think it is a very underrated round but have always had my eye on it so I got one and glad I did. The compact version is a fantastic little edc if you want a snappy little gun. Great gun, great caliber only wish ammo was more available.
