This Tikka was bought for a mountain hunting trip next fall. I ordered it in time for Michigan's firearm season. It's light, even lighter than some companies' special mountain rifle, however it leaves your wallet heavier than most. Although the factory stock is nice, I opted for a BC Medalist, heavier rings and a Leupold before I shot. Performance: In such a lightweight setup if you are recoil shy, the Tikka T3 in 7mm Mag might not be for you. I don't mind it. After a dozen shots it becomes a little rough. She shot excellent! I'm talking 5 rounds into a nickel at 100 yards off the bench. The trigger is nice and I easily adjusted it down to 2 pounds. And that bolt, ever so smooooth. Like butter. For the money it's tough to beat Tikka T3 rifles. I have a 22-250 as well and the coyotes around here dislike that rifle. SO as far I can say....I'ts 2 for 2 in my Tikka purchase history. Buds sent the rifle without a blemish and buying from them using make an offer is awesome. I used this rifle yesterday morning Nov. 16th to take a nice 7pt. whitetail at 260 yards one shot. Just how I like em. Thumbs up to Tikka! And thanks to Buds.
