HK's P30 is a modern police and security pistol that combines function and safety. Ergonomic features include a special grip frame with interchangeable backstrap inserts and lateral plates, allowing the pistol to be individually adapted to any user. The frame also has a Picatinny rail molded into the front. Its slide is one-piece machined from nitro-carburized steel with a corrosion resistant blued finish. The P30 utilizes ambidextrous dual slide and magazine release levers, and extractor which doubles as a loaded chamber indicator, and polygonal bore profile. This V3 model has a serrated decocking button, spurred hammer, polymer recoil absorber "stop" bushing, and 3-dot sights. Included are two backstraps, lateral grip plates, and 10-round magazines.

I purchased this about a year ago to give myself some time to thoroughly assess its quality, and I have to say it has not disappointed. Exactly 2133 rounds down the tube without a single malfunction. It has been mainly a range pistol and my competition pistol used for IDPA, but has been carried in wet, sweaty, and extreme hot/cold environments. It has never once failed to function with any sort of ammunition or conditions. I highly recommend this firearm. Buds provided excellent customer service (via phone), great pricing, and great shipping (free and quick, can't beat that right?).
