This pistol is quite a handful of 1911. I REALLY wanted to like this pistol, but I can't get behind it 100%. Some of the positves are the magazine capacity, great machining and finish work. Slide to rail fit was extremely tight, necessitating hundreds of rounds downrange to try to loosen it up a little. Now for the negatives. It's really too large for CC. Finding a holster to accomodate this behemuth is next to impossible. Because of the long slide it's cycle time is really slow, any slight limp wristing it and it will not go into battery all the way. I would suggest they put in a higher poundage spring to maybe help with this. I suppose you could just shoot P from it, I don't know since I only used standard velocity ammo. While this pistol looks like something from a Punisher movie, which is really cool, it's just to finicky to make me trust it to work all the time, every time. I've owned many 1911s, but this is one I regret getting. As for the best part of this purchase.........Buds! They always do a great job with all of my purchases, thumbs up on their service.

I got this pistol around Christmas time and I finally got around to shooting it. WOW!!! This gun is awesome. No hiccups or malfunctions of any kind. 1" consistent groups at 20 yds and it just feels good in the hand. For a factory gun, I am very impressed with the function and accuracy. This is just a fun gun to shoot..... and all of the staring looks at the gun at the range with the long barrel were an added benefit.
