• Q: Can this be equipped with a circular rear sight, like the XS Peep Sight. Is the Ghost Ring the same thing?

  yes it can be equipped with the XS sight system as it is drilled and tapped see 7th paragraph "Though the rifle is drilled and tapped for scope bases, my favorite feature is the iron sights from XS Sight Systems. (I own several lever guns, and all wear XS sights.) The rear sight is a large ghost-ring aperture with a .220-inch opening that is fully adjustable for windage and elevation. • Q: I've never shoot that heavy of a round through a rifle

  its really not that bad to its about the same as a 12 ga shotgun with 1 1/4 oz loads 7 lb rifle recoil is 36 foot pounds the 12 ga is around 33 foot pounds recoil

  Jason, there are 3 safeties - "Transfer Bar", "Lever Position" and Manual hammer drop by holding the hammer with your thumb, pulling the trigger and slowly lowering the hammer (which decocks the trigger mechanism),

  Brad: From Henry's web site: "The model H010 will be factory issued with a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with a brass beaded front sight. Because the receiver is drilled and tapped, scope mounting is an easy option." So there you go .. comes with a buckhorn style rear sight.
