Decided to try Blackhorn 209 loose powder. This breech plug aids in trusty ignition. If you are using loose powder I would recommend purchasing one of these breech plugs.

A must have to shoot blackhorn 209 in a cva. Had some blowback with cci 209m. Switched to Winchester 209's and problem solved.

Product arrive as promised and was exactly what was needed for loose powder in my CVA. At the range another fellow was attempting to use the standard breech plug with buckhorn and had nothing but trouble. With borrowing this plug from Bud’s we both had great success and got our rifles dialed in for deer season. He has already ordered his from Bud’s now.

A must have for any CVA. Once I started using Blackhorn 209 I threw all the others away and will never use anything else.
