Really impressed with this pistol! After cleaning I used it for my NRA Handgun Instructors Expert Certification and it did not disappoint! Even after hours of shooting in the wind and rain, it was very easy to hit 10's with 230 gr hard ball ammo. Maybe the threaded barrel's extra length provided a longer sight picture for more accurate shooting...regardless, it was a great shooter! Buds made it an easy transaction as well!

The Remington R1 Enchanced TB is an excellent gun! The balance & accuracy of this firearm is great! Seeing as this is the first 1911 .45acp I have purchased I am very pleased with the gun thus far.

I wanted a threaded barrel for my suppressor. I was hesitant to get this pistol because I was concerned about quality in a _$700 pistol. I was quite pleasantly surprised. The finish is fine, it's accurate, and it functioned without a hitch…like it was already well broken in. I have 3 Remington R1 Enhanced 1911 pistols. All of them run like a champ and leave no room for complaints. They all turned out to be great purchases.

This thing is a tank, I would not want to carry it all day but it is great fun at the range. So far it has ate any and every ammo that I have thrown in it without issue. I did add the Kimber ambi safety, it required just a little filing but went in pretty easy. I have a GemTech GM-45 that is normally attached to it, they are an excellent combination, sounds really good even with the cheap Federal 230 grain stuff. The suppressor height sights are greatly appreciated and the G10 grips feel good while providing a good surface to grip.

incredibly good 1911. I bought to put a suppressor on it. the pistol look grate and shoots better, I was able to hit a fist size group in a target at 15 yards. I was not really happy with the sites it came with, but that's my preference. I really planed to modify this pistol more, but the pistol has all I wanted to do to it on it. overall it is a lot of fun and I am glade I made the percuss.
