The Walther Colt 1911 22Lr Is a great looking and great shooting gun. I shot 4 mags each of the Aguila 38 gr. and the Armscor 36 gr. Ammo through it with no problems at all. No misfires or feed problems, This gun is also very accurate. Money well spent . I love It ! Buds was also great to deal with and shipped it out fast. THANKS !

Had an issue from day one with loading and had to send back to Walther. Fast repair and it performed better but still issues with loading first round in every mag. Decided to find a workaround because I love shooting this gun but now the safety gets jammed and will not lower without manually pushing in the pin with a finger nail or small object. Other than shooting, not impressed with this one. Buds of course is always the best with shipping and care of the firearm which is why I gave two stars rather than one.

You have to love Bud's, always on time or early. Got this pistol to keep the muscle memory going, for a lot less money. The feel is amazing, all the 1911 functions are the same, except the recoil. I did find out that it does not like Norma .22lr 40 round nose ammunition. 2-5 failures per magazine, failed to feed, not going into battery all the time, just frustrating. Then plugged in some cci mini mag. The pistol ran fine, accuracy improved, had a great time. Now to get the thread adapter and a suppressor.

Absolutely LOVE 1911s but I wanted something that wouldn’t scare my mom off when I started to teach her to shoot, and this was the PERFECT gun! All the practicality of 1911 without the “bang” of a .45. Plus the ammo’s super cheap to shoot so we can train all day. Pure excellence if you ask me

I have owned this pistol 2 weeks and am having a rough start. About 300 rounds through it and have had about 3 dozen malfunctions. Failure to cycle and failure to feed. The magazine thumb assist was so sharp it cut my sons thumb deep. Walther was very good about sending two replacement magazines that had the sharp edges taken off. Going to try an aftermarket main spring as lots of owners say it really helps with cycling. I will also try more types of ammo to see if I can find one that will shoot a complete magazine. But overall, I personally would not purchase this gun again. I understand .22Lr can be finicky, so I will give it some time and work through the bugs. It is a nice heavy and good looking pistol.
