The Smith & Wesson M&P 40 is chambered in .40 S&W with a 15 round capacity. It has a 4.25" barrel, white dot low profile carry sights, and three polymer palmswell grip sizes. It has a stainless steel slide and barrel and a polymer frame. The slide is finished in black and the frame has a carbon fiber finish. It has ambidextrous controls.

My new go-to conceal and carry firearm. After going through more than 1,500 rounds at the range, I can now write a more valid/accurate review. First, the obvious, the carbon fiber look is gorgeous and will stand out from the rest at the range or wherever you plan on taking/showing it. As far as the actual feel, performance and reliability, I LOVE the fact that it comes with various size grips (S,M, and L)for you to choose from. I have large hands and the Large size interchangeable grip is PERFECT for me. In regards to reliability, as mentioned, I've put in more than 1500 rounds and have yet to experience a gun jam or any other type of malfunction. The recoil isn't too bad to control for a 40 caliber. Although it has more obvious power than my M&P 2.0 9mm, it didn't affect my "multiple shots training" at all. Comes with 3 Dot sights, which is great, along with an extra 15 round mag.

5 stars!! Gun is aesthetically beautiful. Never seen another like it. PERFECT trigger action and extremely consistent, even after hundreds of rounds.
