Built as a result of numerous requests by the hunters who wanted a slightly shorter barrel and lighter swing weight in a carry rifle for predator hunting/calling, this 20-inch barreled version of Varminter will deliver all the accuracy you have come to expect. The 20" barrel is fluted 4150 chromoly vanadium steel with sharp 1:8" twist rifling for heavier bullets typically used on bigger varmints and predators. Predator features include a hybrid SAAMI Spec. chamber, two stage competition trigger (3.5lb. take up and 1 lb let off); a vented aluminum free-floater forend with bipod stud; B.M.A.S. 1/2" mini risers for optimum scope positioning and cheek weld; Hogue ergonomic, ambidextrous pistol grip and a 5-round magazine (legal for hunting in most states).

Ridiculous comes to mind. Tack driver with good ammo such as Norma 175 gr match repeatedly even when getting warm. Shoots extremely well with almost all ammo I've tried which has been quite surprising. Entirely too fun to shoot. Beyond sweet in fit and finish. Trigger is super easy and crisp.
Buds was fantastic of course once again. I highly recommend Buds.

Very pleased with the accuracy of this rifle i had no problem sighting it in it was flawless but i have missed 3 coyotes due to misfire and not happy about that at all. I have had 3 shots on coyotes since using this gun and everytime it has let me down

Overall good rifle, but does not meet my expectation of accuracy. Very Heavy two stage trigger. 3 MOA for AE or PMC rounds, 2 MOA for match ammo.

Finally received the rifle after a lengthy wait(45days)... it shoots 3/4MOA with surplus M193. This is right out of the box. Thanks to Buds for finally getting around to filling my order. Look forward to less waiting time on next order.

Excellent rifle, nice fit and finish. Shooting sub MOA groups with Hornady TAP 75gr BTHP ammo.
