If you've never shot a 50 BMG Beware... it's addicting! And the Bushmaster BA50 makes it tons of fun! I live in a state where semi-auto BMGs are banned, for no good reason of course but so be it. So I did my research and landed on the Bushmaster BA50. The BA50 comes with 2 10 round magazine, bipod, a cable lock, and basic ear/eye protection in a lockable hard case, thankfully with wheels because at approximately 30+lbs it's heavy and can be challenging to navigate in tight spaces. The gun itself is beautiful! It's AR style gives it a familiar feel and the 2 pin system makes it quick and easy to assemble out of the case. It has an AAC Cyclops fast attach muzzle brake which is ready to accept the AAC 50cal suppressor (sold separately). Additionally it is equipped with a Magpul PRS adjustable stock which will adjust vertically and horizontally for added length or height where needed. This stock also has a rail on the underside for mounting a monopod (sold separately). The rifle has a top rail to mount your optics and an additional rail along the fore end which is removable if you want to reduce weight a bit. The bipod quickly and easily bolts on the front and can fold forward or backwards. As for shooting, with it's match grade Lothar Walther free-floating barrel (1 in 15 twist) to say this gun is accurate would be an understatement! It easily puts rounds on the "X" at 300yds and though I have yet to have the opportunity to go farther out, I have no reason to doubt that with the proper optics, this gun will meet the challenge of 500yds, 1000yds, 1500yds or even further! As for those who like to say that the recoil on a bolt action rifle is insane, I will beg to differ with them. The Magpul stock does a great job of mitigating the felt recoil down to not much more that my 30-06 or a 12ga shotgun. I will say that I did question the whole left handed bolt, right side eject setup but after firing a few rounds it feels completely natural, not to mention that I don't need to come off target to work the bolt. Overall I am very happy with this rifle and look forward to many years of joy sending lead down range with my BA50! Thanks to Bud's for a quick, easy and seamless transaction... AGAIN!

I've taken this 50bmg out several times since I got it and put about 60 rounds through it. I put a vortex crossfire scope with Burris extreme tactical rings on it. Shoots perfect its a tac driver with that set up. The recoil is the best I've experienced out of all the BMG's I have fired. Its like shooting a 30-06. My 16 year old daughter fired it with no problem, and the case it came in is built to last. I have yet to find one con about this rifle.

Have not shot this weapon yet, but it is huge. As far as Buds, I was disappointed that it took from Wednesday until Tuesday to ship after bank transfer. After that, two day shipping.

Love this gun !!! It's hard to believe how much fun it is to shoot this gun, the kick is so mild I could not believe it the first time I shot it. I am really glad I decided to buy this Bushmaster 50 BMG. As usual Buds shipped the gun fast

    Depends on where you live. Several states have begun collecting sales tax for online orders after the Supreme Court decided it was legal. So, If your state requires sales tax for online purchases, Bud's must then charge the tax. You'll see it when you go through the checkout process.
