Bent guide rod right out of the box.. haven't even fired it yet...smh

I have so far only put 200 - 300 rounds through the pistol, so this is just my first impressions. The Girsan needs a good amount of cleaning and lubing right out of the box, and my first 50 rounds experienced one or two failures to come back to battery. However, that could be because I was limp-wristing. Since then, I have brought the pistol to the range on four or five days, and it has performed very well. I have not had any further failures. The trigger is excellent, with a very clean break and a positive reset. My only (slight) gripe is that the picture does not match the pistol as purchased, in that there is no compensator on the weapon. Buds does warn about pictures, so I can't say too much, but on a 10mm with a sub 5 inch barrel, a comp would have been nice. I replaced the perfectly decent grips with LOK grips, and I am totally satisfied with this pistol.
