I thought this was some kind of a hollow point or shrapnel type load from looking at the pictures, clearly, they are just variant of a FMJ. Was disappointed. I'm embarrassed to admit, I was not sure what an encapsulated bullet was, I was assuming it was what I was looking at, as I did a search for 9mm rounds that were hollow points and saw these and jumped on them. They shot well, no jams, no issues.
