CZ 712 purchased after watching Tom demo it in CZ promo videos. I've had the gun for 2 years now and exclusively shot sporting clays with it. First, it's a beautiful gun, especially at this price point. The classy wood and well fit wood and metal finishes look great. It's far ahead of the comparable inexpensive Turkish and Russian products. Second, it's spot on. A great shooter for the varied ranges and target presentations of sporting clays. I haven't taken it dove hunting, but the light, quick pointing feel of it would be excellent for that sport. I love CZ products in general and this gun is one of the best practical offerings they have.

Have had this shotgun for almost a year. Only thing it has failed to eject is the pink federal breast cancer 2 3/4" target loads. Won't buy those again. Dove load, 3" turkey, slugs personal defense ball loads, and 00 buck all of various brands functioned perfectly. Wood is less than pretty, But it's a great field gun. I've hunted dove turkey deer and broken tons of clays with this 26" cz 712. Recoil pad is thin but with proper shouldering its not too uncomfortable. Im considering an aftermarket replacement pad For long days of breaking clays. Gun fits my frame well and shoulders nicely. I'd highly recommend to anyone wanting a semi auto at a pump price. Good gun, and considering a second cz USA, over under next time. Buds was a pleasure to deal with and shipped to a preferred vendor here in town quickly. Buds Customer service was a pleasure to deal with.

Arrived nicely wrapped in a velvet style bag for protection. Shot 20 heavy steel shot thru it to break it in, then tried the lightest loads I could find with no problem feeding. Shoots exactly where I aim it.
