The Model 845 was derived from the successful "Taurus OSS" pistol we designed for the U.S. Armed Forces, but adds an external hammer that has been requested by so many of our valued customers. "STRIKE TWO" CAPABILITY - The Taurus 800 Series is now ready with "Strike Two" capability. If you have had a hard primer and the gun misfires, the 800 Series senses this and automatically gives you instant "Strike Two" capability by resetting the trigger for automatic double action re-strike. No need to do anything else, simply pull the trigger. Research indicates a 93% or better chance the round will fire on re-strike. When it fires, the 800 will automatically revert to single action by itself. If it falls on a dead primer, simply manually recharge and keep going.

I purchased this handgun via Buds layaway plan which worked very well for me. Once I made the final payment, it was shipped out to my FFL immediately and arrived within 3 days. Outside of the magazine release being a little tough at first, all seemed to function well. I finally had the opportunity to take it to the range and it functioned amazingly well. Fed 200 rounds through it with no FTEs or any other malfunctions. I was impressed with its accuracy and how balanced it was with a loaded magazine. The recoil is very manageable for a 45 and the mag release is getting easier to use.

This is the first time I have purchased from Buds and I am very impressed with their prices and service. I will definitely use them again in the near future.

OK Buds Kicks Ass, Shipped next day, FFl Teaford Auto rocks if you live near Philly,Bob's a great guy. The Gun.... Well It took 2 weeks to find enough ammo to go to the range. Flawless 100 rounds not a single hiccup.First 50 Blazer second 50 Federal . shot great, recoil (what recoil) . was dead on out to 25 yrds without adjustment. I will say clean your gun before you shoot it ,theres alot of greases. Fit and finish very impressive. feels great in the hand. only gripe the mag release is a bitch.you cant stay on target and drop the mag because the buttons to stiff. Overall I highly recommend this gun as a great buy for the price.

I just received this pistol and I love it. The fit and finish of the handgun is great. The only thing that I don't like so far is the magazine release, at times it is hard to engage, but perhaps that is because it is not broken in yet. I can't wait to get it to the range to put about 500 rounds through it. Thanks Bud for great product!
