A fine piece, rough due to the light weight and small size, but excellent.

When I got the pistol home the grip had a gap in them so I took off which accesses the battery compartment for the Crimson Trace laser. I noticed a wire was keeping the grips from coming together and the laser was being pointed outward. I fixed the best I couuld but it was like whoever cut the wire for laser cut it too short and if it was longer I couldve moved it out of the way of the batteries and it would've been fine. This is a light revolver capable of shooting 357mag loads. Even a 125gn P packs some recoil. If a woman is going to shoot it or carry for self defense I'd recommend getting some softer recoiling loads. I'm 6feet and 225 and shooting 158gn PPU 357mag isn't fun. I'd rather shoot my GP100 with a 6.5" barrel or my 7.5" 44mag than this Firecracker!

Wife carry gun. Very lightweight and she likes it. Had trouble with slides on semi-autos. Specials and +P are doable. Magnums will punish you. Nice to have the option of using Magnums IMO.

I have many Ruger Weapons. This LCR closest approximate's my SS 357 SPEED SIX which I have carried and fired for over 30 years. Rugged doesn't even come close. It is however a Brick. My online order was corrupted by a lose of connectivity on my part. Buds personnel immediately fix the problem by phone and completed my order. They were polite cheerful and helpful. The weapon arrives, I open the box, and look at my not so pretty revolver. I pick it up and remember why I bought it. After firing full 158gn .357 I can say that this weapon is exactly as light as it can possibly be. Recoil was Stout, but managable. I wouldnt put more then 10-15 through at a time. Practice with .38's then finish with 5 or 10 .357 carry loads. That is why you bought it right? I carry in a pocket holster,and with slightly lose clothing I forget Im carrying it. The laser is VERY bright and completely intuitive if not automatic. I have a .38 M&P Bodyguard and the CT laser on it is not as bright (but does have a pulsate mode). The tgigger is like melted butter, easily the smoothest DA I have ever owned. (Sorry Python). I would buy it again and will be buying from Buds again.

My wife was unable to fire any of my various hand guns and we felt it was important for her to be able to do so. I sent 3 or my hand gums that I almost never use for a trade for the Ruger LCR 357/38 with CT Laser grips. Buds was 100% fair about the $$ they'd give me for the trade. We agreed on the final price to me and two days later it went to my FFL that I use. This was the second time in four months that I've made a purchase from Buds. The first was Ruger GP 100 4.2" 357/38 mag. I could not have been more pleased. So, two purchases and two happy experiences.
