I ordered this rifle to fill a need for a good knock around accurate rifle, the quality of the hard parts are good. The stock is thin and flexible but I'll probably wind up changing it out for a boyds. The bolt and trigger are pretty smooth. I replaced the factory mount on it with a dnz right out of the box. Buds is a wonderful company to deal with.

Very disappointed with this rifle,no muzzlebrake,poor quality,the finish its basic,I expected way more. Love all my Rugers.For sure will never buy Mossberg ever.

This is a great gun offered by Mossberg. The bolt is very smooth right out of the box without even cleaning it yet. It features a floating barrel which is rare for this price range and keeps temps lower in the barrel when firing multiple rounds. It is fairly light for such a long gun. It comes with scope mounts already and molded sling mounts in the stock. For the price I dont think many rifles will top this one. Also features an adjustable trigger which is very easy to access (only 2 allen screws by magazinbe well) and the barrel/trigger assembly comes right off. Buy with confidence, and as always BUDS is great and had this 2 days after it left their warehouse. A++

The Mossberg 4x4 rifle is one of the best values in a long gun on the market. Largely under rated. This is my second one. The bolt has a smooth precise action. The accuracy is equal to that of the shooter. If you are a good marksman, then it's a flea flicker at 200 yards and up. It has an easy to remove bolt for cleaning. The trigger is adjustable. It's also easy to take apart and modify. It comes out of the box with scope mounts. The mounts, not the rings to be specific. The fluted barrel is a really nice addition and is unexpected at the price this rifle is offered at. I ordered mine with a synthetic (black) stock. If your thinking of purchasing this rifle, you will not be disappointed.
