Bud’s gets a solid 5 stars. Always a pleasure buying guns and ammo from Bud’s. Good prices, good service, fast processing. I love Ruger revolvers. I own several. I own several from all brands, but Ruger has always been my favorite. With that said, I was a little disappointed to find that Ruger quality control has suffered similar to S&W and Colt. This is the first Ruger that I’ve experienced problems with from factory. The pawl and cylinder became misaligned after firing only 150 rounds. The pawl would not rotate the cylinder. Also, the front Novak sight fell off. I did, though, get great help from Ruger customer service. Returned via FedEx, they only had it for a week. They repaired and returned to my residence via FedEx. Only out of my possession for approximately a week and a half. Not long at all. Since then, I’ve put another 150 rounds (all magnum to provide a good test). No problem. Appears to be fixed. I’ll put another couple hundred before I call it good, but so far, I’m pleased. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this revolver. I really love it

Just what I was expecting! Fit and finish was good. Trigger is good. The over all feel was good! Delivery was prompt and transfer to my FFL was easy!

This is a hoot to shoot. Because of its design and weight, there is almost no felt recoil shooting 38 SP +P. Even shooting 125 gr and 135 gr 357 mag presented very light felt recoil. The revolver seems to be very well made. The fit and finish is flawless. It is melded nicely with only the hammer to worry about snagging, but I haven’t had an issue with that either. If you don’t carry concealed, then that isn’t a concern. I’m only 5’ 9” and my high riding, body hugging hip holster allows for good concealment. I put it through the paces with various drills from 3 yards out to 10 yards and it can stay on target easily due to low recoil and it’s accuracy right out of the box. I had zero issues with the first 100 rounds. The grips are actually nice and comfortable. I had no purchase issues shooting on a hot humid afternoon. It is heavy enough to deter some from carrying, but the right carry gear can make it comfortable. It feels like my fully loaded single-stack .45 ACP when carried on my hip. I’m not going to debate high capacity semi’s vs six shooters (I carry both), but if you need more accessible ammo, become proficient with a good speed loader and carry a couple reloads with you. This may not be a carry weapon for you, but it is also excellent for home defense and plinking. I don’t see the average hunter using a 3” bbl due to its range of accuracy potential, but it could be useful for close range targets of opportunity. I highly recommend this for all niches of use.

Great gun, great price...

I am really enjoying this revolver. Like all Ruger revolvers, this one is solid with good heft. I love the Novak sights and the matte blue finish. I put everything from 125 gr range ammo to 158 gr Underwoods without a hitch. As always, Buds handled the transaction seamlessly. I will definitely do business with Buds again.

Absolutely LOVE this revolver! This is my 1st firearm and its perfect - looks = "10", weight = "10", accuracy = "10", I was able to use it for my CPL class and I had only shot it once the day before class - I did great with it! This is a little large to actually use as my concealed carry but for home defense and for the range its perfect!!

Thanks Bud's for making my fourth purchase great. Gun is perfect and very nice. No blemishes like one I held here in town. Wiped it down, oiled and has a very smooth wheel spin and trigger. VERY tight lock up and perfect in the hand. Just know its going to be a awesome shooter.
