Absolutely beautiful. Not only is this a gorgeous piece of hardware, it operates smoothly, reliably, and it’s a hoot and a half to shoot. Fires off 45 LC for the more timid shooters out there, makes it manageable for the ladies. 454 casull is still quite comfortable to shoot too especially with lighter loads. The gun is 5 star but the review is 4 star because… It did NOT come with the Ruger scope rings and it DID come with a busted rear sight.

My goodness, what a gun. The 454 is a lot to hold, but fortunately it loves warm 45 Colt too. Very solid hunting handgun with as much power as you'll ever need.

Incredibly awesome revolver. It's large & heavy, which is something that I want considering the cartridge that it can shoot. Accurate and easy to shoot, although full .454 Casull loads are quite noticeably more powerful with more recoil. I've purchased several firearms from Buds and am very impressed with their service.

As one would expect from a Ruger Super Redhawk, it's an absolute cannon, an indestructible tank, and surprisingly precise downrange. No regrets of any kind.

Excellent gun. Big and heavy. Shot it with 45 colt ammo. Handled it like a dream. Shipped gun was a little dirty but that isn't Bud's fault.

This gun is a beast. The only six shot 454 Casull out there. Accurate and dependable hunting revolver. Shoots both 454 Casull and 45 Colt ammo without issue. Highly recommend for big, dangerous game.

Incredible handgun, which is everything I expected and more. Bud's is not a "ship the same day" type of company that many of us have come to appreciate in this modern age, but very professional, none the less.

This is by far my favorite firearm in my collection, with my favorite cartridge!! I’ve owned several Taurus and ruger revolvers and let me tell you, when I was looking at 454s I considered the Taurus raging bull but based on any other Taurus I’ve had (44 tracker and a 605 .357) the rugers are MUCH better. I loved my gp100 and I am obsessed with the super redhawk. I was worried that the 454 would have too violent of recoil based on countless forums I’ve read and people I’ve talked to...don’t believe the hype!!! Shooting 260 grain bullets is a breeze, shooting 300 grain wakes you up and anything larger than that, yeah, I wouldn’t want to do it for fun, but honestly it’s very controllable. The first shot you’ll be pointing at the sky but once you’re used to it, expect maybe 5 or 6 inches of muzzle rise. It honestly is more comfortable to shoot than my Taurus tracker in .44 mag with a ported barrel and MUCH less painful than a Taurus 605 2” .357 magnum. Buds price on this firearm was $200 cheaper than anywhere I’ve found locally, plus they have a price match option so I was able to get mine for $870 vs $1100 in town. Although the day before I ordered they were willing to go to $840 which is kinda irritating. Either way, phenomenal handgun, second only to a freedom arms model 83. After purchasing this I laugh at myself for even considering buying a raging bull. I LOVE THIS GUN!!

I love this gun, my new favorite toy. Buds shipped fast as always. Buds rocks. But this gun is really something special. I love the range of ammo, from low power 45 Colt cowboy loads through 454 Casull loads that are in rifle territory power-wise. I've heard complaints about the orange insert ramp front sight, but I like it. I shoot the gun most of the time with the open sights but occasionally with a Weaver 2x scope that is quick to acquire target and hold zero nicely. I love this gun.
