shoots fine has a bit more recoil than expected box and 3 mags are really nice

Gun runs 100 percent after 300 rounds down range. The only issue I have is it shoots about a foot low and left at 10 yards. I can deal with a gun shooting high, but an entire foot below point of aim is unsat. I emailed Beretta 32 December and have heard nothing back as of 19 December. Taking matters into my own hands and ordering a target adjustable sight.

I’m very pleased with this PX4 Storm SD 45ACP. It is my second copy I have purchased. The original one I purchased about 15 years ago and I never thought Beretta would offer this package again. It has always been my favorite go-to gun. It just agrees with me. I was also surprised the price was only slightly higher than my original purchase.
One complaint is that the two new 10 round magazines don’t come with the extended polymer base pads that the original 10 round magazines had. They have only the nine round base pads and almost an inch of the magazine is exposed when inserted. It looks stupid. If I can find two of those extended polymer base pads for the new ten round mags, I would buy them just so it looks how Beretta originally intended the pistol to look with the extended magazines.

Very happy with this .45 ACP handgun. Accurate with low kick due to the rotating barrel.
All the weight is in the slide, the polymer handle is extremely light, little bit less w/a fully loaded magazine.
It came with a nice Pelican case, 2 extra magazines, cleaning kit, case lock, foam inserts, two back straps.

After not finding many videos, I took the leap buying this because the presentation of it out the box I was astonished buy the quality and overall response while shooting on the range! Amazing experience with buds as usual thank you can’t wait till my next purchase!

I had been thinking about this pistol for quite some time. I finally took the leap, and i'm very happy i did. The PX4 SD is crazy accurate right out of the box. I have seen people say it just a standard PX4 45 with a longer barrel, not true. This has the competition trigger group which is smooth as silk right out of the box. Very soft recoiling for a 45acp. I'm very happy with this purchase and, as always, Bud is great!

After 100 rounds of 230gr Fiochi ammo, I can say the performance was consistent and reliable. However, the recoil was enough to cause a sore trigger finger. It will take some getting used to. I do like having 10 1 capacity. Field stripping without tools was easy, and clean up was simple with gun oil, and just minor bore scrubbing with brass brush and bore cleaner.

This is my first 45. I purchased after doing allot of research and looking at many options. I chose this gun because of all its many features. To me the extras justify the added cost compared to the normal PX4. The gun fired nicely right out of the box, with no issues. I learned in my researching of the gun that Beretta puts a protective coating on all their firearms before shipping. Allot of people expierence FTF issues because of this coating. This is because the coating makes everything sticky. Be sure to clean any new Beretta to be sure you have no issues. I put 300 rounds through it at the range, with the last 20 being hollow points, and not a single hic-up. Field stripping and cleaning isnt bad, just an extra cam block, groove, and a bit of aligning . The PX4 SD is so nice, that after have firing mine, my wifes convinced her next 9mm will be a PX4.

I just got my Beretta Special Duty 45 from my FFL on christmas eve and I have to say the presentation of the gun with pelican case is Awesome !!! On to the gun, at first looking at it I thought its just a PX4 Storm with a 2 tone finish but upon closer inspection I quickly realize its something MUCH better :) the first thing I noticed is that its got a steel guide rod and Not plastic like the regular PX4 Storm , second thing is that its got a double recoil spring and its coated with a special coating inside the gun like NPR or something to make it function better and last longer,Third thing I noticed and liked was the cool little Special Duty emblem engraved on the side of the gun, I will give a range report after I shoot this gun Very Soon...Overall Im Very Satisfied with my purchase and thank Buds for the Great price and Beretta for the Awesome product !!! :)
