• Q: Why would I choose the stainless version of this rifle versus the blued version? I am seeing commentary indicating the stainless is more rust resistant, beyond that the choice is cosmetic. Any functional differences?

  Absolutely no function differences other than a higher element resistant finish Thomas. If you properly maintain your firearms then this is even less of an issue. A decent cleaning and storage in anti rust gun bags and you will be good with either.
