Definitely a good hunting round. It has less felt recoil and muzzle report than the Hornady 200 grain load from my 5" 460 revolver. Plus it is just as accurate, with a couple inches higher point of impact. Much easier for follow up shots if need be, I will be taking this hog hunting this season.

Federal has become the standard in ammunition. The 460 S&W Magnum is no exception. 5 out of 5. This ammo and firearm is not for beginners for sure but performs as expected. Buds does not dissappoint either.
