If you want the very best in a 454,,, Then this is the ammo to have. The 300gr is an absolute hammer for anything in North America. I have taken Hogs and Deer, and they are not that difficult to take. But the biggest impression I got was the way it has worked on Aoudad. This round broke both shoulders, and when I say broke them it really destroyed the bones. Shattering them both. It is one thing to break the onside shoulder and penetrate to vitals. But when you can break the offside shoulder, AFTER you have broke onside and penetrated the vitals, And maintain the mushroom, AND travel straight,,,, Then you have done something. The Swift Aframe is THE bullet to use on larger heavier game. You might balk at the initial price, but actually it is a value, when compared to all the other prices of a Quality Hunt. Take the Aframe and Take the Trophy. Expect about a 3/4 to 1" hole to be in the game. With the velocity this bullet is running, it will mushroom in excellent "Textbook" fashion.
