The P-01 9mm (designated the P-06 in .40 S&W) was designed for LE and Military duty, but its compact size and the reduced weight due to its forged alloy frame made it ideal for discrete carry as well. Equipped with a decocker, the P-01 provides convenience for those who prefer hammer-down carry.

The P-01 was the first CZ model to benefit from updated manufacturing technology at CZ’s Uhersky Brod factory. The components of the P-01/P-06 are completely interchangable with every other P-01/P-06, with no individual fitting required. This required some very careful re-design so that the reliability and accuracy were not impaired. Since the time of its introduction (designed in 2001, NATO-approved in 2003) the production upgrades have been rolled out to most of the CZ 75 family and several new rifle models as well. The 1913 accessory rail easily accepts any of the industry-standard lights and lasers to assist low-light use. After 3 years of some of the most aggressive small arms testing ever, the CZ P-01 won the honor of replacing the CZ 75s previously used by the Czech National Police.

Reliability:  The U.S. Army “Mean Rounds Between Failure” (MRBF) requirement is 495 rounds for 9mm pistols. During testing of the CZ P-01, the average number of stoppages was only 7 per 15,000 rounds fired. This is a .05% failure rate or an MRBF of 2142!

For many years, the P-01 carried an NSN engraved on its frame, making it the first NATO-spec pistol ever available to the public. Recently, the factory decided to upgrade the slide stop spring which in turn means the current models may not carry the NSN.

This is my second CZ handgun. I own a 75SP-01 tactical on .40 . I purchased the P-01 on 9mm for carry . Both of these guns are excellent . They are well made and reliable .

Absolutely love this firearm. As soon as picked it up, I knew I was going to enjoy shooting it. The grip is fantastic! I’m also a fan of DA/SA triggers, and the decocker works as it should. Just like all my other purchases from Bud’s , this one was no different. Always on point. Thanks!

I have wanted the CZ P01 for so long. Finding one with a 10-round mag for my restricted state caused me to have to wait 1.5 years before I could get my hands on one. Very good shooting pistol, made even better by my Cajun Gunworks trigger package I had installed, plus some nice porting. I occasionally have some trouble with the hammer bite, but I just have to figure out a better grip for handling this pistol. I love this gun.

I sure wish I found the P01 many years ago! They don’t tell you the rear slide serrations are scalloped, and allow more ‘purchase’ for your fingers. The PCR and 75B are flat. The slide stop is different from the PCR to. The pin sticks out further on the right side, and there is a relief cut in the frame around it making it easier to get out. An awesome pistol with some soul!

The p01 so highly underestimated more people need to look into this gun. Proven battle strong and almost 100%. Run rate with no failures. Great gun out of the box. I would highly recommend everyone I know to shop at buds gun shop used layaway to p purchase my gun after making final payment gun made it to my FFL within 24 hours of final payment. Freaking awesome! Thank you buds. Most definitely will be ordering another gun here at soon cz scorpion here I come

Great pistol. Really like the decocker on it. Safe, but ready when you need it. Fit and finish was verry good. Would advise to buy one. Bud's made it easy and fast. Five stars! Put one star by mistake.

This is my first CZ pistol I did a lot of research and watched a lot of video reviews before I chose this firearm and i honestly will say this CZ 75 P01 is a perfect cc.It fits my hand perfect it the whole gun itself is just awesome,I recommend this firearm to anyone looking for a first cc or a new cc it shoots beautifully and accurate.I definitely will get another CZ probably the CZ p10 S for a backup. And Buds was great I used the layaway option and received the firearm at my FFL very shortly after final payment very pleased.
