I was hoping this pistol was going to live up to my expectations. The trigger pull was very good, not to light not to stiff. The first round went bang, and the second etc... until it was empty and a I had a smile from ear to ear!!!

The pistol ran flawlessly through 120 rounds of old dirty Remington 155gr and some new 165gr ball Winchester. The pistol was just as everyone said it would be Fitted tight and looking nice like a semi-custom should. The safety had a nice positive click and movement. The slide lock worked every time and the beaver tail safety was fitted nicely almost no slop. There were no noticeable tool marks seen. The mag well isn't completely blended but the mags go in like greased pigs every time. The grips are the shark skins/dimpled style grips and they hold like glue but are not irritating. Even my wife's smooth hands were not harmed. I couldn't get over how much grip they provided.

The fiber optic front sight showed up well in the overcast sunlight we were shooting in. The pistol sights are a little off but the rear adjustable sights will make easy work of that.

Over all the SSC in .40s&w rocked through 120 rounds of terrible ammo that would have choked a lot of guns. the only problems encountered was the mags. By the end of the session the mags were working and the pistol was getting put through its paces fairly fast and the gun never hiccuped once.

I wouldn't normally run dirty cased ammo through a new gun but I figured if the DW's are as good as every one says they are, then I wanted to see if it would stand up to the hype and it definitely did!
