I ended up selling this pistol after six months, thinking I was tired of it. Not a month later I was regretting selling it and a month after that I bought it again, this time all in black. Got the slide coated in a light grey and it's definitely a keeper. It can be particular about handloads (OAL and primer depth), but every round of factory ammo had gone bang and hit what I aimed at. An excellent design that fits my hand with great balance and control. Before you buy that model that every other 9mm shooter has at the range, take a long look at this gun. Springfield has sold a good many XDs and for a .45ACP pistol, it's hard to beat. Highly recommended.
