Over-sized take-down release lever. Forged, heat treated fully machined slide. Cold hammer forged barrel. Ambidextrous magazine release. Loaded chamber indicator. Front and rear cocking serrations. Firing pin status indicator. Two chrome plated Easy Glide magazines. XD Gear System includes belt holster, double magazine pouch, magazine loader and a cable lock.

The XD 45ACP is very light weight and handles great in the hand with a loaded clip. It is compact and the safety feature works well. If you attempt to discharge the weapon without fully griping the handle, it will not fire. Sighting the pistol in was easy as well. the line of sights line up perfect with your eyes. The first time shooting the weapon taught me to wear ear protecetion. I was able to target shoot getting 1 1/2 to 2 inch groups at 25 yards with this pistol. The recoil was not an issue at all as the pistol feels so comfortable in the hand. This is a good choice for anyone who is looking for a nice pistol to carry concealed.
