Great carry option. Small enough that it barely prints through my clothing, despite the fact that it's a revolver. No external hammer to snag if you need to quickly access it. The crimson trace option enables you to quickly establish a target. Some people may think that a revolver that only holds 5 rounds is too limited, but keep in mind that this is to help you get out of a dangerous situation, not go into a prolonged combat situation.

Great CCW gun, but wish I had done a little more research before purchasing. Would have gotten the no internal lock model, and possibly spent the extra for the performance model. After the trigger job and lock disable, might have been less expensive.

Bought two for my daughter and mother for first firearm, a lot of folks talk about semi autos but you cannot beat the reliability of a wheel gun and for two new gun owners who shot them for the first time today. Great product as is with a name brand, both complained of kick but after 50 rounds they were doing well and my first ever shooting scored a bullseye on 15th round at 10 yards. Great product and service from Bud's and my FFL / gun range makes it always a pleasure

The S&W M642CT is the first revolver purchase I ever made. I was seeking a 357 but the price was too low to pass up (393.00)! I am very, very pleased with the was Bud's handled the purchase and as always, the time it takes to receive it. The whole reason I made the purchase is self defense. This is not a weapon for shooting hunderds of rounds at the range. I only shot 15 rounds just to get the feel of it (it's a small revolver), now it is in my carry rotation. Life is good, thank you Bud's!

Bought this for my wife to carry. She loves the Crimson Trace and the lite weight.. She likes the hammerless because of carrying but does not shoot as well as a hammer cocked. For me, gun shoot very well with manageable recoil. Bought the Buds lifetime warranty, I feel it is well worth the money and I know no one else that offer that!
