Mislabeled, but great non the less This is the FN Patrol Carbine NOT the tactical, however great firearm, mil spec, pretty well sighted in right out the box And just feels good.

It is a very interesting experience holding this rifle. It looks like so many others, just a plain Jane rifle. But in the hands, it is like you can feel the fighting heritage. It is very similar to the one I carried in the Army, except not quite as worn-out.
All the functions move slicker, engage better, click into place like they are designed to, like the rifle is fully broken in, battle tested, and ready to go. And while you wouldn't, it feels like you could start fighting straight from the box.
It is hard to describe, and maybe harder to measure, but this is a rifle made for use in harm's way, a serious piece of equipment, not relegated to the range or safe. The spirit of the thousands and thousands of fighting men and women who have carried this rifle's brothers seems to be infused here, too. Hard to adequately describe, but it gives you confidence that while things may go wrong, this rifle won't.

Great rifle. It's actually a patrol carbine mlok. Carbine length gas system. Cheap metal rear sight, it's not a FN sight FYI. Still a nice rifle though.
