Overall it's a good product for the price. Only issue I had was that the lid would never stay up on it's own. It would only tilt back so far, but only far enough that the lid would eventually start to tilt forward and close on it's own. Minor gripe but it keeps it from a 5.

I bought the Plano case so I could carry my pistols in my car when I go to the range and have them locked up as required by California law. The case is well made, the latches are tight and the case closes well with a good seal. It has enough space for about five handguns and accessories. The foam is easy to remove as desired, but needs to be finished with a plastic coating if you want it stay intact. I like the idea that it has internal locks in two of the latches and also has two places where you can secure it with padlocks. I would recommend this case to any of my friends.
