This is a great value for a bolt action 308. The 5501 comes as a package that includes, in addition to the rifle, a Bushnell 3-9x40 scope with rings and see-thru covers, an extra magazine, and a surprisingly nice padded neoprene sling with Uncle Mike's QD swivels. The rifle has a big, hefty bolt and is solid all around. Thompson quality for a good price. Took a while for Buds to ship as there is a wait for the funds to clear - but other than that, the buying experience was painless and easy.
