Traded a rifle for this. The deal was easy and painless. The staff made it easy. Gun shoots really nice but still need a little breaking in.

Love this Rifle!! Had to reload to get the bullets to go into one hole at 100yrds but I did it! Mounted a Nikon scope on top and on a good day it will make one ragged hole at 100yards. I haven't mounted a brake on the threaded barrel and probably won't because I would have to work up another load, and it shoots great now. The stock has good gripping surface wet or dry and the free float seems to work well. I put a Timney trigger on it and it helped with the accuracy. What else!?

This is the first bolt action I have ever purchased and I use it just for target shooting. Quality feels excellent and I am very satisfied with the overmolded stock. I am not a very experienced shooter nor a particularly great shot but I added a Harris bipod and vortex scope and it drives tacks out to 200 yards which is the longest range near me. The only issue I do have occasionally is the bolt passing over the top round in the magazine without picking it up but I believe this might be user error. Bud's service was fast and excellent as always.

First: Buds was AWESOME as always. Cheaper price and free shipping combined with an early delivery. BUDS FOR THE WIN!!! Second: The rifle arrived in good condition. Remington has never used the best packaging but it does what it needs to. I was surprised to see after reading several reviews just how flimsy the stock actually was. Any additional pressure and the free floatedness was GONE. the bore and chamber were clean, there was a dry film layer of lube on it and it wasn’t excessive. The rifle overall was what I hoped for. Accuracy wise everything from 55grn FMJ to the heavier bullets all performed acceptably with the favorite being the 62grn fusion soft point which produced sub Moa groups almost inherently. Would definitely buy again, as soon as they fit a new stock.

Totally satisfied with the rifle has good feel and balance. I recommend this rifle to anyone looking for a short carbine. I will be buying from Buds again! Their service is A ONE!

Perfect transaction and Buds delivered as promised. Absolutely zero complaints about the 700. Action was nice and smooth and I immediately dropped a Timney trigger and Wyatts bottom metal with detachable 10 rnd mag. Used a JP Enterprises brake as well. In the this configuration I'm shooting 1/2 inch groups at 100m using 55 gr Federal off a bipod. The recoil pad on the Hogue stock keeps perceived recoil at an absolute minimum. Highly recommend this gun to anyone considering it.

Very neat rifle. Great weight and balance the stock seems nicer then my SPS Tactical Hogue in .308. The threat protector is steel and is very nice. Just a very neat clean gun. I can't wait to shoot it.
