This is a fantastic rifle and caliber! I've put several hundred rounds through it already and haven't had a problem! It's light and durable and shoots true every time. Everything you would expect from the Remington 700 series! The .300RUM is a fantastic caliber too. I've taken everything from Whitetail Buck to Black Bear with it so far. The only downside is the price of the bullets!!! If you're planning to shoot this often - look into a re-loader!

Showed up from Buds dry as a bone. Very light to mild corrosion on the bolt and carrier assembly.
I probably would have refused this item, if I didn't enjoy cleaning and caring for firearms as much as I do.
It's a 700 bolt, so we all know that it will fire like a champ if and when I decide to break this bad boy in.
